Governance

Rules the platform can explain, audit, and keep.

Transparent authority, traceable controls, and operational integrity across the Evident ecosystem. Governance here is practical: who decides, what cannot change, and how accountability is preserved.

Authority

Manager-controlled decisions for architecture, access, licensing, and deployment.

Integrity

Evidence immutability, hashing, and append-only audit posture.

Restraint

No automated system crosses protected operational boundaries without explicit approval.

Manager-governed LLC Append-only accountability Deterministic processing standard
Governance command surface showing sources, custody anchors, and controlled export state
Authority, evidence integrity, and audit controls in one operational model.
Framework

Governance that prioritizes truth, restraint, and traceability.

This platform is owned and governed by Evident Technologies LLC , a manager-managed New Jersey limited liability company. Decisions regarding architecture, licensing, access control, deployment, and intellectual property are made exclusively by the designated Manager(s) of the LLC.

Core principles

Principle Truth before persuasion All processing is deterministic, reproducible, and verifiable.
Structure before style Clarity and auditability take precedence over convenience.
Integrity before convenience Evidence immutability and chain of custody are non-negotiable.
Due process before outcomes The system serves lawful accountability, not predetermined conclusions.
Restraint before expression No inferences of intent, guilt, or liability are embedded in any output.

Evidence integrity

Control Original evidence is immutable Files are never overwritten or deleted as part of platform processing.
Control All evidence and derivatives are SHA-256 hashed Every record can be tied back to its original bytes.
Every access, transformation, and export is logged Operational activity remains reviewable after the fact.
Audit logs are append-only Records are never modified or removed from the accountability trail.
All exports are reproducible from originals Outputs can be regenerated and inspected against the source record.

Autonomous systems and AI restrictions

No AI agent may merge into protected branches alone Explicit human approval is required before protected code paths change.
No automated system may trigger production deployments without authorization Deployment remains a manager-controlled act.
AI-assisted changes must be attributable and reviewed Every contribution must remain traceable to the requesting human and model used.

Audit and amendments

All significant actions must be traceable. Merge commits, deployment logs, and access changes are retained and logged for accountability.

This governance framework may only be amended by the Manager of Evident Technologies LLC. Changes take effect upon commit to the default branch.
